Budget Committee Meeting Notice 2021-22 EDIT

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the

City of Baker City, Baker County, State of Oregon to

discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to

June 30, 2022, will be held at Baker City Hall, 1655

First Street in the City Council Chambers. The

meeting will take place on the 17th day of May 2021

at 6:00 p.m., and if needed, additional meetings will

be held on the 18th, 19th, and 20th days of May 2021.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget

message and to receive comment from the public on

the budget.

At this meeting, a special time will be reserved to

receive written or oral comments on the possible use

of State Revenue Sharing Funds.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected

or downloaded on or after May 10, 2021 via the

City’s website at www.bakercity.com. This is a public

meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee

will take place. All persons who would like to submit

written comment on the City’s 2021-22 proposed

budget or the City’s possible use of State Revenue

Sharing Funds may do so by submitting their

comments to publiccomment@bakercity.com by 1:00

p.m. on May 17th. These comments will be read aloud

during the applicable public hearing on May 17th.

Any person who would like to make oral comment on

the proposed programs with the Budget Committee or

discuss possible uses of State Revenue Sharing Funds

may appear at the meeting. Those who would like to

make oral comment remotely may request a phone

call during the applicable public hearing by emailing

publiccomment@bakercity.com.
