The Baker County Library provides free public library service through books and other resources, for education information and recreation to all residents of Baker County.
Founded in 1901 by the Alpha Club for the enrichment of the community, the library today operates as a District under the directorship of five elected officials. Regular board meetings are held at 7PM on the second Monday of each month, except when rescheduled as necessary. They are open to the public everyday of the week located at 2400 Resort Street. With an extensive collection, numbering over 160,000 volumes of books, magazines, music CDs, movies and documentary films, newspapers, historical photographs, there is something for everyone. Their downloadable catalog, Library2Go, has another 50,000 items including e-books and audiobooks.
