Baker City is preparing a draft I-84 Baker Interchange Area Management Plans (IAMP) for the areas surrounding I-84 exits #302 and #306. The IAMP will describe existing traffic and land use patterns in those areas, identify potential safety and traffic congestion issues, and propose policies and implementing measures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the interchanges over the next 20 years. The IAMP is being developed in collaboration with Baker City, Baker County, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and other stakeholders, including property owners and interchange users.
