Court Street Plaza

Court Street between Main and Resort has been widely utilized over the years for local events.  In fact, our community’s Christmas Tree has called this area its home for many holiday seasons.  Much discussion has been held regarding this area and how it could be developed into a more permanent gathering space for the community.

At this time, we have gathered a variety of ideas about this space but have not decided on a conceptual design.  For instance, the Plaza could be closed to automobile traffic at all times or closed only for special occasions.  It could use various paving techniques for style or be fully landscaped with grass, shrubs, flowers and trees. 

These issues – and many others – will need to be decided prior to designing Court Street Plaza.  Once we are further along with the other projects, we can focus our efforts here.
